| | Visitor experiences with Merryhillj j Just a rip off. Membership over priced. Not even sur if you can sell your caravan outside of the Club as the owners want a VERY LARGE % of the selling price. Rhona Wright Britain's best -- a beautiful naturist oasis surrounded by forest, set in the Ringland Hills (probably the only hills in Norfolk!) six miles east of Norwich and a perfect center for exploring East Anglia's gorgeous countryside, coast, villages, and of course The Broads.
More like a tiny village than a naturist park, it's a unique mix of residential and holiday homes, all privately owned, yet with space for tourers and campers (though space is tight during the annual Music Festival, the biggest event of its kind in the UK.)
Because Merryhill is a thriving little community, NOT a camping site, the atmosphere of welcome is unmatched anywhere, so much so that first-time visitors quickly become regulars and, sometimes, even residents.
Beautifully landscaped, with a stunning clubhouse and full size theatre stage, outdoor heated pool indoor heated pool, mini tennis courts, and boules court, Merryhill is family friendly but of especial appeal to couples whose kids have fled the nest and simply want quality time of their own.
Merryhill opened almost 15 years ago and is one of naturism's best-kept secrets, we've been going there for holidays for the past five years and it just gets better and better! | | A naturist campsite nearby:Naturism and travel links for Great Britain |
